Pancakes are a weekly thing in our house now. Amelia, my 3-year-old absolutely loves pancakes. I do too but I never found the perfect recipe. After experimenting for more than a year now, I think I finally found the one. And I danced with joy looking at how the pancake turned out- Fluffy and yummy!
These pancakes have been a part of our celebrations and have been comfort food during hard times. We love ours with lots of Nutella, bananas, and strawberries. You can top them up with anything you like or even add some choco chips into the batter.
1.5 cups All-purpose Flour
3 tsp Baking Powder.
1 Tbsp Sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups Milk
3 Tbsp Melted Butter
*Use measuring cups and spoons only.
*If the batter is too thick, add a little milk.
*Cook on low flame.
*This recipe makes about 10-12 pancake
In a bowl combine all the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, salt & baking powder).
Make a hole in the middle and break the egg.
Pour milk and butter and whisk till batter thickens.
Heat very little butter in a nonstick pan on low flame, pour the batter and let it cook till the edges leave the pan, and bubbles form on top. Flip and let the other side cook. The base should be golden brown in color.
Serve with Nutella/ Maple syrup and fruits of choice 😋
