It’s been a while. A long long time actually that I’ve posted anything here.
But two days back my mum insisted I do. She said she wants this recipe to go on the blog and I just couldn’t say no to her.
If you know me, then you would know I don’t eat any kind of seafood. Like literally nothing. I’ve tasted all of them but just don’t seem to like it (DO NOT JUDGE ME).
But, my entire family loves seafood, including my dear husband and Little Amelia.
I’ve cooked seafood just twice in my entire life and I’ve decided I need to cook it more often; for them.
This recipe is all Mum so fret not, it’s a good trusted one 🙂
INGREDIENTS:
1 Kg Crabs- cut into halves
2 Onions sliced
2 Tomatoes sliced
2-3 Green chilies slit
1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tsp Coriander Powder
3 tsp Pepper powder
1/4 cup Coriander leaves chopped
1/4 cup Mint leaves Chopped
10-12 Curry leaves
1/4 cup Yoghurt
1 cup water
Salt to taste
Note:
*The amount of pepper can be altered according to our taste.
*Cutting the crabs in halves will ensure the crab meat to absorb all the flavour from the masala.
METHOD:
In a nonstick pan, heat enough oil and fry onions and green chilies till golden brown.
Saute ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and pepper powder together. Add sliced tomatoes and cook well till its mushy. Add coriander leaves and mint leaves and saute well.
Next, add your crabs to the masala, with a cup of water and yogurt and let it cook till left with a thick masala and the crabs are cooked through.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve as a side to rice or enjoy it with rice rotis.

Hope you guys like this recipe as much as my family does.
Much Love,
Sadaf
